2014: Placed third and fifth, respectively, in the 200 individual medley; fifth and eighth, respectively, in the 100 butterfly; and eighth and 14
th, respectively, in the 200 fly, at the Empire 8 and UNYSCSA championships… Swam on teams that took third in the 400 and 800 free relays and fourth in the 200 free relay at the UNYSCSA meet…Swam on teams that set new school marks in the 800 free relay (6:47.09), 400 free relay (3:04.43) and 200 free relay (1:23.53)…Tied for the team lead with wins in 12 dual meet events…Also swam on four winning dual-meet relay teams.

2013: Set a new school record in the 400 individual medley (4:10.00)…Placed 10th in the 200 IM and seventh  in the 400 IM at the Empire 8 Conference championships and placed 12th in the 200 IM and seventh in the 400 IM at the UNYSCSA championships…His time of 4:10.00 in preiminary heats of the 400 IM at the E8/UNYSCSA championships set a new school record...Swam on teams that took fourth in the 400 freestyle and 800 freestyle relays and sixth in the 200 free relay at the UNYSCSA meet…Led the team with 13 dual-meet individual wins and swam on three winning dual-meet relays.

2012: Second in the 400-yard IM and 10th and 17th, respectively, in the 200 back and 100 fly at the state championships… Swam on the 400 and 200 free relay teams that each placed fourth at the state championships…Was second on the team in dual-meet scoring and had eight individual dual-meet race wins (tied for third on the team).

Before AU: Swam at Starpoint High School in Lockport, NY, helping lead his team to division championships for four seasons, from 2008 to 2011…Was a Section VI qualifier each of his four seasons in high school and a state qualifier as a junior and senior in 2010 and 2011…Set school records in the 500 free, 100 free, 200 IM and 200 medley and free relays.

Personal: Zachary, the son of Dennis and Robyn Toth, is a mechanical engineering major…Younger brother Alec is a freshman on the Saxons’ swimming and diving team.
