2016-17: Named a team captain...earned All-Empire 8 Second Team (02.23.17)...named GoSaxons.com Athlete of the Week (01.02.17 and 01.09.17)...led the Saxons in scoring for the second year in a row and scored his third season of 400 or more points as he hit exactly 400 this year...broke the school record for most three-pointers against Stevens Institute of Technology (02.10.17) and extended it all the way to 263...tied the school record for most three-pointers in a single game with nine against Houghton College (02.18.17)...finished the season with 60 three-pointers...led the team in assists with 59...second on the team in steals with 27...pulled down 73 rebounds...led the Saxons at the free-throw line making 72 of his 84 attempts (.857)...scored in double-digits in all but four of his games this year...started all 25 games...had eight games with 20 or more points and three games with 30 or more points including a 32-point performance against Ithaca College (01.03.17)...ends his career being either the point-leader for the Saxons or the runner up since his first season...ranks No. 5 in Alfred University history in scoring with 1,519 points.

2015-16: Named a team captain...named GoSaxons.com Athlete of the Week (11.30.15, 01.04.16, 01.11.16) making him the first male student-athlete at Alfred University to earn the award three times in a season and also to earn the award in back-to-back weeks...inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma, a national honor society for collegiate athletics (02.06.16)...led the Saxons in minutes (798), three-pointers made (69), assists (71), APG (2.8), points (411) and PPG (16.4)...posted a career-high in points (34) against Ithaca College (01.09.16)...tied a career-high in assists (6) against Hartwick College (02.05.16)...surpassed 1,000 points against Houghton College at home (01.23.16)...earned All-Empire 8 Conference Second Team Honors (02.25.16).

2014-15: Named to the Empire 8 Conference All-Star Second Team...played in 26 games with 25 starts...finished second on the team in points with 411 and averaged 15.8 per game for the second place spot as well...led the Saxons with 37 steals...third on the team in assists with 56...had 20 games in double-figures, eight with 20 or more points and two with 30 or more with his season-best being 31 points against SUNY Canton (02/14/15)...finished the year with 45 rebounds.

2013-14: Played in 27 games...averaged 11 points per game...made a team-high 52 three-point field goals...shot 82% from the foul line (49-for-60), second best on the team.

Before AU: Played at Hayfield Secondary high school in Alexandria, Virginia under coach Carlos Poindexter...earned Second Team All-District honors for the National District his senior year.

Personal: Tyler, the son of Ana and Paul Seelman, is an accounting major.
