ALFRED, NY -- Alfred University's Saxon Nation has purchased tickets to this weekend's NCAA Division III home playoff game against the University of Mount Union that will be provided free to AU students.

A limited number of free tickets to the Saturday (Dec. 3) noon game at Yunevich Stadium will be available, giving AU students the opportunity to save the $4 ticket price. The tickets are being offered thanks to the generosity of Saxon Nation, an organization that supports Alfred University's Athletics Department.

The tickets will be available until 4 p.m. Friday and can be reserved at the Center for Student Involvement (CSI) at the Powell Campus Center. A valid AU Student ID must be presented when reserving tickets.

Tickets can be picked up on game day at a Will Call tent set up near the ticket booth at the main entrance to Yunevich Stadium.

Non-AU students will be able to purchase tickets the day of the game, at the following prices: Adults (17 and older), $6; college students, children 3-16, members of the military (active or veteran) and senior citizens, $4. Children 2 and under will be admitted free of charge.

Current purple seat season ticket holders can reserve their seats. Cost for those tickets will be $6 for adults 17 and older and $4 for senior citizens or members of the military. To reserve those seats, or for more information on ticket sales for Saturday's game, please call 607-871-2193, or email Colleen Harvey at harveyc@alfred.edu

Also, reserved parking for Saxon Nation members, near the entrance to the Yunevich Stadium grandstand, will be honored as usual.
