Box Score ERIE, PA- The Alfred University women's basketball team dropped 69-47 decision to Grove City College in the Behrend Tip-Off Tournament consolation game, Saturday afternoon.

The Lady Saxons trailed 39-19 at intermission and were not able to close the gap during the second half. For the game, AU shot 26 percent from the field, 17 percent from beyond the arc, and 45 percent from the free throw line.

Fresman forward Amanda Off (New Berlin, NY/Unadilla Valley) led Alfred with a team-best nine points and a team-high six rebounds. Junior guard Harley Cleary (Rochester, NY/Our Lady of Mercy) added eight points and five rebounds.

Senior guard Rachael Stedman (Hamburg, NY/Springville Griffith) made the All-Tournament team, piling up 10 rebounds, scoring six points, and making two steals for both games.

AU (0-2, 0-0 Empire 8) resumes play on Tuesday, Nov. 19, at 5 p.m. in a non-conference matchup against Wells College.
