Â
"We are excited to invite not only our local Boy and Girl Scouts to these events but also our local community to participate in a day that promotes sports and health education in our region,"Â Â
Paul Vecchio, Director of Athletics, said. "Our hope is to make this an annual event and build even more community-related events into the program in the future. I hope everyone can take a break from the cold outside, come in and enjoy the warm and inviting confines of the Joyce and Walton Center and McLane Center for some great activities and exciting basketball action."
Â
Check-in for the merit badges begins at 8AM in the McLane Center lobby with swimming merit badge testing beginning at 9AM and running to 10:30AM. The nutrition merit badge education and simultaneous lunch will begin at 11AM and run to approximately 12PM.
