Her biggest thrill as an AU student-athlete was being named an All-Star. Domster also competed two years on the women's basketball team and one year with the women's tennis and soccer teams. She graduated with honors in 1982 from the School of Art and Design.

Wendy competed in triathlons and mini-marathons. During the school year she is active in the community as a facilitator of drug and alcohol prevention program for sixth graders called "The Better Things Program."

She was one of the first two women firefighters in the Santa Clara, CA Fire Department.
