One of the best all-around student-athletes in Saxon history. Football, basketball and track & field at Alfred University. All-Western NY in 1937-40. member of the undefeated 1937 team, first even coached by Alex Yunevich. Golden Glove boxing champion. Army Lt. in World War II. Fifth leading scorer in Eastern college football in 1932.
