Tom Quinn played three years of varsity football at Alfred University (1960-62) and started in eveyr game (24). As an offensive guard and linebacker he was LIneman of the Game four times during his senior year when he also received honor mention Small College All-America.
As a high school player, he won All-Conference honors was captain of football at Griffth Insittute and Central School, Springville, NY. He also played baseball and basketball.
Quinn played freshman football at AU and later was a line coach for the freshman team. He was named Athlete of the Year in 1963 by an athletic association in the Buffalo area an din 1980 was inducted into the Pop Warner Sports Hall of Fame at Griffith Institute.
He was with Ferro Corporation (Cleveland) as a design engineer. Quinn served two years with the U.S. Army at Fort Dix where he was commanding officer of atomic demolition unit and received the Army Commendation Medal.
Quinn was employed by Xerox Corp in Rochester and Phillips Information Systems in Dallas, Texas.
In 1981, Quinn and his wife, Shelby, established their own company, North Texas Information Processing Products, Inc. The company provides basic distribution and mail marketing services for other companies.
