Alfred University Athletics

Four years of track & field and cross country at Alfred University. During his senior year, Sevene was recognized as the most-outstanding athlete of the year at AU. As a member of the All-Army Track & Field team, he ran 4:01.3 mile, the fastest ever by an AU graduation. Escaped death in a helicopter crash while serving as a captain in Vietnam. Holds Purple Heart, Bronze Star and Air Medal. Was the cross country coach at Boston College.
