Alfred University Athletics

Played four year of varsity football and three years of basketball at Alfred University. Captain in both sports. Outstanding in both offense and defense in pre-platoon football era. Also an excellent punter. Described as "man's man and athlete's athlete." Member of the New York State Police, Federal Bureau of Investigation. Major in Military Intelligence during World War II.
