Mike's basketball career started at Xaverian High School in Brooklyn where basketball is king.

Then Alfred University Head Coach, Ron Frederes, didn't land Wing in the traditional recruiting manner. He was attending an Athletes for Better Education Basketball Camp, which is where top players that haven't been recruited attend. Wing quickly caught Frederes' attention, turning into a connection immediately.

That contact turned out to be the start of a very productive four years in Alfred University basketball history. Mike, who provided fans with many memorable games, compiled several records. He is still the school record holder in career rebounds (923) while also serving as one of the only players in AU history to earn NABC All-East Region honors.

Mike resides in Forest Hills, NY and is the National Account Manager in New York City for MCI with such accounts as Major League Baseball and The News Corporation.
