Matt was a split end on the 1981 football team that went 10-0 during the regular season before losing 13-12 to Montclair State in the NCAA playoffs. A two-time All-American, Sullivan held the all-time Alfred University record for receptions in a season with 58.

Sullivan caught 124 passes for 1,602 yards over three seasons for the Purple & Gold. He had his best year as a sophomore when he caught 58 passes for 826 yards and seven touchdowns.

Born in Gloversville, NY, Matt was a standout at Fonda-Fultonville High School before coming to AU. he currently resides in Fonda, NY with his wife Wendy and two children. Sullivan is the Eastern Region Director of Sales for Kasson & Keller, a manufacturer of residential and commercial window and door products.
