Levinia Creighton devoted 40 years of her life to women's physical education, women's athletics and Alfred University. She was the only woman in the physical education department from 1936-1959. Seh competed in four sports during her high school days. Lavinia developed a booklet of archery articles, which have been used nationwide by instructors of archery. She also served as a national judge for basketball officals' ratings. She provided leadership to the women's program at AU in all respects.
