A 1920 graduate of Alfred University. Native of Ridgeway, PA. Won 10 varsity letters at AU in football, basketball, baseball and track & field. Captain of the football team in 1919 and basketball team from 1917-1920. Biggest thrill while at AU was his first collegiate touchdown in football. End-around play against Rochester. Retired in 1960 after 20 years as manager of Lumnite Sales and Service. Universal Atlas Cement Co., a division of U.S. Steel.
